Pole Flow*

Wednesdays 7-8 pm

Endorphinz Fitness Club, Miramar

This class explores the art of fluidity, grounded in floorwork and basework techniques. We delve into the intricacies of choreography by weaving together different pole combos, tricks, body rolls, and leg waves with graceful transitions. We spend two weeks on each choreography so you have the time to master the routine and infuse your own uniqueness into each move. There is an emphasis on exploring how the movement feels in your body so that you can make each routine your own and adapt it for your own freestyles and/or routines.

Perfect for those who are still learning the fundamentals of beginner pole and more advanced students who are looking to explore flow, sensuality, and choreography.

Prerequisites: body rolls, pirouettes, and forward & backward rolls.

Heels are recommended and knee pads are necessary.

*This class is booked through the Endorphinz MindBody App.

My dance journey

I have danced for most of my life. Spending almost 20 years as a Ballroom and Latin dancer and teacher, and 7 years as a Bharatanatyam student (Indian Classical dance). I also dabbled in Salsa and Bollywood but really found myself through Pole dance.

Even though I spent most of my life dancing, my movement was always disconnected due to carrying a lot of pain and trauma in my body.

I danced… but I feared being seen.

I moved… but focussed on how it looked rather than how it felt.

Through Pole dance, I began learning to trust my body, my movement and build physical as well as mental strength. I started focussing on how movement felt in my body rather than how it looked. And I finally learned how to embrace my femininity and learn that it was safe to be a sensual being.

In every graceful spin and confident hold, we acknowledge the origins of pole dance, which emerged from the vibrant world of strip clubs, where talented strippers showcased their strength, agility, and creativity. It's crucial to pay homage to these creators who pioneered this art form, turning it into the empowering and expressive practice we embrace today. Their innovation and dedication have transformed pole dance into a celebrated form of self-expression and fitness. By recognizing this history, we honor their contributions by breaking down stigmas, ensuring that pole dance continues to evolve as an inclusive art form.

Rapture Pole Competition

2023 Semi-Pro Winner

"Once upon a time, in the vibrant lands of India, women danced under the golden sun and the moonlit nights, where sensuality was revered as a divine gift, a manifestation of Shakti and Shiva.

But then, foreign powers arrived on the shores, carrying both ambition and oppression; enforcing judgments and decrees that cast shadows over the sacred art of sensuality.

Now, it’s time to reawaken an ancient truth—that the Indian woman was always meant to be an empress of sensuality, a sovereign of pleasure, a great queen, a Maharani.”
