Reclaiming Yoga
This is not about performance.
This is about coming home to yourself.
If you’ve ever felt out of place in a yoga class—too stiff, too brown, too emotional, too tired—this space is for you.
In my classes, you don’t have to “keep up,” “push harder,” or bend your body into shapes that don’t feel right.
You don’t have to leave your culture, your emotions, or your complexity at the door.
You don’t have to perform peace.
You get to feel, rest, and reconnect—on your terms.
Yoga That Honours Its Roots
As a South Asian teacher, I offer yoga that is slow, embodied, and respectful of its origins—not the Westernised version that’s been repackaged for fitness, flexibility, or aesthetic.
The yoga I teach is rooted in the 8-limbed path, gifted inter-generationally, guided by breath, stillness, and care for your nervous system. It’s trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and designed for people of colour—especially those carrying trauma, disconnection, or exhaustion from navigating systems that weren’t made for you.
Here, your body is not a problem to fix.
It’s a place to listen, to feel, and to reclaim.
Yin Yoga
(Details to be announced soon)
Stillness and breath for people of colour seeking grounding, release, and reconnection.
Yin is a quiet, meditative practice that invites long, passive holds to gently release deep layers of tension in your body.
Rooted in Daoist philosophy and martial arts, Yin supports your nervous system to regulate, your mind to settle, and your body to rest—deeply.
These classes are:
🌿 Trauma-informed and culturally safe
🌿 Accessible to beginners
🌿 Designed for those who feel disconnected, dysregulated, or overwhelmed
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be “good at yoga.”
You just need a space to slow down and be with yourself.

Why This Space Exists
I created these classes for people like us—those who’ve sat at the edges of wellness spaces, never quite feeling seen. For those who’ve been told that rest, slowness, and softness aren’t for them. For those who are ready to reclaim movement, stillness, and care as birthrights—not luxuries.
It’s a place to listen, to feel, and to reclaim.
You Are Welcome Here
You don’t need to know yoga.
You don’t need to be spiritual.
You don’t need to “fix” yourself.
You just need to come with your breath, your body, and whatever you’re carrying.
We begin from here.
