Circle of Rest
Circle of Rest is a 2.5-hour journey into stillness, resonance, and return — a blend of slow, grounding yin yoga guided by Ashley, a Fijian-Indian yoga teacher, counsellor, and movement artist whose work honours the roots of yoga and the wisdom of the body, and immersive sound healing led by Nizaad, a South Asian sound practitioner working with handpan, crystal bowls, shamanic drum, and sacred instruments from around the world.
This offering is held by two brown women reclaiming rest as a sacred, ancestral practice — an invitation to soften the body, soothe the nervous system, and tune into the deeper rhythm that lives beneath the noise.
We’ll move.
We’ll receive.
We’ll be held in sound.
All are welcome. No experience needed — just bring your breath and an open heart.
